Job Description
Anew Era TMS & Psychiatry of Texas is a psychiatric services and Transcranial Magnetic treatment provider organization. Our mission is to deliver world-class care to patients with primary MDD and anxiety disorders and other mental health conditions. The company is well-positioned for continued growth due to recent coverage approval for TMS by most major insurance companies. We will provide certified training for facilitation and medical necessity for TMS.
This exciting position requires a Licensed Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to perform patient evaluations for medication and ongoing medication management.
Responsibilities:
- The Nurse Practitioner will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- He/she must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Master’s degree in nursing and completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current RN licensed and certification to practice as an advanced practice nurse in Texas with a focus in Psychiatry.
- Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
- Demonstrates the ability to prescribe medications (see individual state laws) and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patients diagnoses, health history and age.
- Encourages positive health behaviors for the maintenance of health and the prevent of disease. This is done through education and counseling.
- Always applies standardizes care guidelines in clinical practice.
This is a part time position with potential to be full time.

- Licensed Psychiatric NP
- Required Board License - PMHNP
