Help teenagers in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey. Located near Three Peaks Recreational Park and overlooking Cedar City, Utah, Discovery Ranch South is a relationship-based residential treatment center based in experiential therapy.
Residential Program Coordinator
Summary/objective— The Residential Coordinator shares a number of duties with the Training Coordinator: e.g., coordinating with other departments; facilitating student care; and otherwise assisting the Residential Director and staff. However, duties for this Coordinator are particularly geared toward organizing, planning, and paperwork within the Residential Department. This is a very logistical, clerical position. It requires strong organizational thinking and skills. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Essential functions
- Preparing Treatment Team notes each week and presenting them in Treatment Team
- Coordinating tour logistics, including clean facilities and student participation
- Planning and scheduling airport runs and other visit details
- Coordinating other off-campus travel and scheduling (service projects, activities, etc.)
- Managing petty cash
- Planning activities, Parent Seminars, and staff parties
- Conducting (with the Training Coordinator) Supervisor and other Staff Level System trainings
- Developing strategies with RD and TC to address specific training needs
- Coordinating intakes, assigning peer buddies, and managing room and cabin changes
- Tracking and restocking supplies in the cabins and managing couriers
- Coordinators must attend their weekly scheduled leadership meeting
- Progressive discipline using proper protocol and follow through.
- Communicating with the nurse and Training Coordinator any medical issues with students when on call.
- Coordinators are held responsible for knowing, following and updating all information in the Residential Coordinator Manual and/ or Residential Training Coordinator Manual along with providing updated copies to Human Resources when needed.

- 1 years residential experience strongly preferred, but not required
