Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Retail Wireless Billing Project Team Manager will lead the Project Management team within Retail Wireless Billing and Credit for all projects, initiatives, and escalations tied to Dish Retail Wireless operations. A successful candidate will have a strong focus on team and employee development, and the ability to manage multiple processes and workstreams. In addition, this candidate will work on various managerial functions, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and get into the trenches when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Project Management team's daily operations including hiring, performance evaluation, providing constructive feedback, directing work-flow, and team responsibilities 
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and fully understand processes and their impact on the overall Dish Retail Wireless business; analyze, identify, and implement potential process and systems enhancements to create efficiencies and reduce resource allocation for routine tasks, procedures, and reports; assist in the completion of projects and using discretion to determine the methods to meet established goals
• Responsible for all Dish Retail Wireless projects from a Billing and Credit and Enterprise perspective; this scope will include project Intake, requirements gathering/creation, and developing go-to-market plans
• Coordinate activities with multiple teams both within and outside the B&C department to support a new and rapidly growing retail wireless business
• Evaluate business needs and develop/establish Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
• Develop reporting, plans to achieve significant milestones, and deliver results for new & established OKRs
• Identify potential opportunities for process improvement and report automation using various methods, i.e. databases, spreadsheets, external data sources, IT development, and execute changes to systems with little or no impact
• Ability to engage in team development and foster employee career growth

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics, and at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Customer/Vendor, Project, and/or Release Management preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and work with Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP functions, and exposure to Macro
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Google Suite 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
