Department Summary

Surpassing network limitations of the past, our Wireless Development organization is building the country’s first cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Units, Procurement Ops, Data Analytics, and technical teams to source products effectively and efficiently.
• Manage the competitive sourcing process, including RFx, supplier contracts, and negotiations, while acting as a liaison between internal and external teams.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities by evaluating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and managing vendor relationships to support value creation.
• Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, including budget development, requisition, and purchase order management.
• Develop expertise in Oracle Purchasing and manage projects to automate purchasing and invoice processing, coordinating with IT for implementation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain strong business relationships, prepare reports, and uphold ethical standards in all transactions.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
• We require a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, contract negotiation, commodity management, and business analysis

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong negotiation skills with experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Experience in the wireless industry, with knowledge of materials, suppliers, and wireless network deployment.
• Proven ability to drive procurement savings and build cross-functional partnerships with business units.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems, Google Suite, and other office software.
• Ability to work independently, conduct studies, analyze data, and make informed decisions on complex projects.
• Strong project management skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

Salary Range

Salary : $63,150 - $90,000
