Job Summary:
Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Global Marketing & Sales organization within Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.
What you will do:
Within CIMA, the Consumer Insight Social Listening & Text Analytics team is responsible for voice of the consumer and unstructured big data within the department. The social listening team analyzes social media posts and the text analytics team analyzes open-ended survey responses. Our team gives qualitative data a quantitative structure, allowing us and our partners to deeply understand likes, dislikes, unmet needs, and other important insights into the way consumers think and act. This salaried role is based out of Celebration, FL and is a hybrid position with four days in the office.

- 1-3 years of experience in market research, or working with consumer data.
- Experience with programming languages and analysis tools such as SAS, SPSS, Visual Basic, SQL, Tableau, Python, etc.
- Experience with data mining and statistical analysis to address key business issues, making recommendations to partners, and producing regular (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports
- Familiarity with text analytics techniques such as topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and language models
- Experience maintaining reporting databases and investigating trends
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and high intellectual curiosity
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated excellent writing skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, put together insights, and tell a story
- Proficiency with MS Office and Mac applications
What will set you apart:
- Expertise programming in SAS Enterprise Guide and Python
- Demonstrated expertise with text analytics techniques such as topic modeling, content categorization, sentiment analysis, and entity extraction.
- Expertise managing APIs
- Demonstrated experience using Ascribe, SAS Text Analytics or other data mining/survey coding tools
- Demonstrated experience using social listening tools such as Netbase, Infegy, Synthesio, Sysomos, Meltwater, Brandwatch, etc.
- Fluent language abilities in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Business, Psychology, Computer Science, or other related field

Masters Degree
