ELD Technology Specialist

Dispatch & Services Inc. a transportation and logistics company located in Asheville, NC is seeking a motivated individual that can thrive in a demanding and fast paced work environment. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously. We are looking for a professional and goal-oriented individual to join our team. This job is performed on site and cannot be performed remotely.

Job Description:
- Wiring different types of electronic devices into vehicles(GPS/ELD/Spireon/Samsora/Lynx/DashCams).

- Working with vinyl(applying and removing).
- Explaining ELD/Motive/Tablet utilization to customers
- IT/hardware support for our facilities
- Keeping up with inventory of electronic devices and other supplies
- Keeping spreadsheets up to date
- Creating documents with Adobe
- Communicating with coworkers/customers very often(Email/hangout/phone)

- Shipping and receiving packages

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software
- Basic knowledge of wiring/soldering
- Able to walk long distances(few miles a day minimum) and lift up to 50 lbs(not frequent)
The ideal candidate should be results driven and able to communicate effectively, while providing excellent customer service. The candidate should feel comfortable working closely with other team members in an office environment and outside. This position will be adequately trained and brought up to speed quickly.

This position will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm (can vary slightly based on tasks assigned).
