POSITION: Teacher of the Deaf
LOCATION: New Searles Elementary School
WORK YEAR: 2022-2023
STARTING: Start of the 2022-2023 School Year
SALARY RANGE: Contractual
QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching applicants must be NH certified or eligible as a Deaf and Hearing Disability Teacher. We are seeking applicants proficient in sign language. Experience with deaf and/or hard of hearing students in a school setting is preferred.
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of Special Education Program Administrator, will provide quality education to deaf and hard of hearing students, preschools through high school age; through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs; communication and social skills development; interagency cooperation, and a strong parent-teacher-student linkage.
