Job Title: Commercial Underwriter|| Credit Analyst
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Payrate: $28/hr - $30/hr
Job Description:
· Reviews new payments and payroll applications for fraud, compliance, and credit risk concerns.
· Makes outbound calls to merchants to validate information and makes decisions on application outcomes based on sound judgement.
· Answers customer inquiries by chat, email, and phone.
· Applies defined procedures to independently review and evaluate new and existing Writes complete, succinct, and accurate case notes
· Strong communication skills.
· Great analytical skills with commercial awareness and a practical approach.
· Ability to learn and teach others while working in a team environment, as well as independently.
· Ability to plan and organize workload to ensure consistent achievement of goals and targets.
· Excellent research and investigative skills.
· Proficient use of technology with exceptional internet research skills.
· Ability to make independent and sound decisions and think on your feet in a dynamic environment.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced, high volume environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Experience:
- Credit analysis: 3 years (Preferred)
- business loan underwriting: 3 years (Preferred)
