Job Description:
- This will be taking inbound calls in a call center for debit card fraud
- The average call is 16 ½ minutes and average between 40 to 55 calls per day.
- This will be talking with customers who have had a charge on their debit card that they are disputing.
MUST HAVES
- Must have excellent customer service and empathy for the customer as they have been charged and are usually upset. This will be going through up to 11 different software programs they use to locate the customer information and check on the charges.
- Must be able to make quick decisions on to whether it is a fraudulent charge or not.
- Must be able to keep a conversation with the customer and have empathy for their situation.
- Will handle wide variety of calls and will be checking status of claims, adding transactions, fee adjustments, interest adjustments for fraudulent charges, closing cards, re-opening cards, they need to look for ways to help the customer and pay the customers or be able to effectively communicate a denial.
More specifics:
- Banking Financial Background
- Bilingual is a huge plus – We have nearly a 100% hire to sub ratio for bilingual candidates
- Bank teller experience (Not needed but huge plus) – They said bank tellers usually work out the best!!!
- Criminal Justice Degree (Not needed but huge plus) Reaching out to career services to schools like ITT Tech would be helpful, they work with their grad students to get them placed
- Computer experience – Usually use 6 different programs per call so must be very good with computers and multi-tasking
- Customer Service Background – Excellent customer service
- Worked in a Fast Paced Environment
- Must have reliable transportation – The bus does not run at this location for these hours
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.58 per hour
