Production Associate 3rd Shift

Job Summary:
The Production Associate prepares products for packaging and shipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect each item for damage or other quality issues before packaging.
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment per instructions.
- Quality control check of packages, confirm packages are properly sealed and labeled.
- Read and follow spec sheets.
- Follow all company guidelines.
- Assist with sanitation as needed to clean and maintain the food manufacturing facility.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- You have knowledge of packing and shipping procedures.
- You have knowledge of safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Processes
- You possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You have strong communication skills and the desire to work with other team members.
Education and Experience:
- Warehouse or factory experience, packaging goods for shipment
- Bi-lingual, English/Spanish a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 30 pounds
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
- Stand and move around the manufacturing floor for up to 8 hours.
- Handle fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold)
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
- Adjust body movements or equipment controls to keep pace with speed changes of moving objects.
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
- See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
- Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
