R & D Assembler

R&D Assembler - 1st Shift, No Weekends, $20.00/hr

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly tasks on prototype device assemblies in a research and development manufacturing environment.
• Follow processes and departmental procedures associated with the assembly tasks.
• Provide feedback to engineering team to aid in developing new manufacturing techniques and methods.
• Inspect work to the template, gauge or other measuring instruments.
• Detect and report faulty work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work in a safe manner at all times following company policies and procedures.

This position starts at $20.00/hour plus benefits.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Experience in assembling parts/devices in a manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Must have basic computer skills and the ability to do data entry using a computer system.
• Experience working with drawings and specifications.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to walk.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time performing repetitive movements.
• Must be able to spot visual defects.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
