Responsibilities :
- Developing and maintaining a program plan that outlines the milestones, dependencies, and risks associated with the firmware qualification program
- Coordinating with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and test engineers to define the hardware requirements for firmware qualification testing
- Identifying and procuring the necessary hardware and equipment to support firmware qualification testing
- Managing the deployment and maintenance of the test hardware, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Ensuring that the firmware qualification testing is executed according to the defined test plans and that the results are documented and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with firmware qualification testing, including potential issues with hardware, software, or personnel
- Monitoring the progress of the firmware qualification program and providing regular updates to senior management
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers of hardware and equipment
- Providing technical guidance and support to the firmware development and testing teams as needed.
- The TPM must have a strong technical background in firmware development, hardware engineering, and test engineering, as well as experience in program management.
- They must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- The ability to manage risks and solve problems is also critical for success in this role.
