Aerial Consultant

This Aerial Consultant is responsible for coordinating the commercial application of pesticides by Aerial Applicators and maintain relationships with the growers and distributors in the area.

This position is with our aerial application business which operates under the name Diversified Applications, Inc. or DAI. DAI owns aerial application businesses throughout the United States. Our goal is to offer quality aerial application services from strategic locations across the country using our growing fleet of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

The employee's primary duty must be the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of Helena or Helena's customers. This also includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.

What your day may look like

• Maintains relationships with growers and distributers to promote our aerial application services.
• Ensures growers and distributors understand the logistics and timing that is involved with aerial application.
• Coordinates applicators, ground personnel and chemical deliveries to ensure timely applications.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the location.
• Ensures safety procedures are being observed.
• Keeps up with changing state and federal regulations.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Education and experience needed for this position

• Agronomy background and knowledge of agricultural aviation a plus.

Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position may require the employee to work in an outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
