Job overview

This is an entry level non-exempt position. This individual is responsible for hand-soldering, assembly, and troubleshooting electronic components. This is a great position for jewelry crafters who are good with high detail and focus with fine motor skills. These skills are great translatable skills essential in this position. Soldering experience is required. Individuals in this position must be able to pass and electronic soldering test.

Please note welding skills will not translate well in this role.

Location Overview

This position is for our location in Forest Park, GA.

Pay Overview

Pay is based on experience and overall qualifications. Pay starting at $16.

Hours of operation overview

· 8 am to 4:30 pm

· Monday through Friday

· Half-hour lunch

Required/Preferred Skill Set

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 2 years soldering experience

· Fine motor skills

Essential Functions

Position is Sedentary with lifting, pushing/pulling, or carrying 0-25% of the time of less than 10lbs. Soldering work 75 – 100% of the time. Position is primary preformed in CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.

Key Responsibilities

· Soldering, assembly, and testing/troubleshooting of electronic components to according to schematics.

· Ability to clearly understand verbal/written instructions, and drawings

· Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language.

· Use equipment such as soldering iron, crimpers, and wire stripers to ensure quality production.

· Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

· Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality.

· Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.

· Keep manufacturing production logs.

· Repair of returned products.
