Position Summary & Responsibilities
The Permitting Specialist supports well plugging operations.
Special focus to be placed on:
- Assists in compiling all relevant information needed for plugging applications.
- Works with Plugging Operations, Land and others to ensure applications are completed/submitted accurately and timely
- Works with the Plugging Operations group to build an inventory of wells to be plugged
- Assists others in ensuring all work complies with DEC standards and applicable Federal/State and environmental regulations
- Provides relevant data for completing reports and status/tracking
- Completes projects timely and within budget
