POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Challenging opportunity available for an experienced reservoir engineering technician: Candidates preferred to have 5 or more years of experience in Reservoir Engineering. A background working with very large inventories of wells is a plus. Having a strong understanding of MS Access and Excel and a mastery of Windows ARIES are required. SQL database experience is desired but not necessary.
Special focus to be placed on:
- Work with reservoir engineering team to manage corporate reserve database.
- Work with reservoir engineering team to prepare acquisition evaluations for a variety of plays. Plays could include conventional horizons, unconventional shales, coal bed methane, etc.
- Provide technical reservoir engineering support for a variety of financial functions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of reservoir engineering technician experience preferred.
- Proficiency with ARIES, Excel, Access. Experience with SQL databases, PowerPoint, and Power BI a plus.
- Independently comfortable working with reservoir engineers as well as IT personnel.
- Strong communication, both verbal and written, and strong organization skills are required.
