POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: *
The Tax Associate will assist the Tax Supervisor with the administrative functions of the Tax Department.
Special focus will be placed on:
- Processing of property tax bills for payment
- Submission of payment requests through Open Invoice and coordination of check cutting with AP
- Distribution and tracking of incoming and outbound correspondence, including tax payments
- Daily maintenance of the departmental email account
- Communication with tax jurisdictions and well operators to ensure accuracy of DEC’s contact information
- Other tax projects on an ad hoc basis
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma
- 1 years of office work experience
- Strong collaborative skills, positive attitude, detail oriented
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
