The Floor Technician will scrub, shine, clean and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals. This job includes operating machinery and moving large furniture while following safety guidelines to prevent injury to themselves and others. Customers by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms, and by being mindful of slip, trip and fall hazards. Preferred candidates are motivated, meticulous, and able to work with numerous interruptions.

Job Duties

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Measuring chemicals correctly.
• Operating chemical dispensing units.
• Labeling chemicals correctly.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE
  proficiently.
• Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and
  maintenance duties.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of floor technician experience or training required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability required. Must be able to meet physical requirements of position. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen in accordance to contractual obligation.
