JOB SUMMARY
Print HCFA claim forms & supporting documents.
Accurately process claims.
Complete insurance letters.
Process mail; scan and file proof of mailing.
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Claims Supervisor and the Billing Office Manager.
Supervises: None
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Education/ training in business office activities preferred.
Experience: Medical/ clerical office experience preferred.
MENTAL DEMANDS
Requires English language skills adequate for written, verbal, and telephone communication. Requires ability to adjust to frequent policy changes while maintaining quality and accuracy. Ability to mult-task and adjust schedule as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires visual and auditory acuity adequate for frequent use of computers and other business equipment. Ability to sit for a long period. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
