Helpdesk Support Specialist

DTSI is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide sustainment services in support of Cyber sustainment and integration services to military organizations across the country. The qualified candidate will support a team of cyber operators, engineers, developers, and specialists through problem resolution and escalation by leveraging and developing program knowledge databases and ticket solutions as needed. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Address helpdesk issues with fielded products, provision products, develop administrative tools, and provide internal IT support for the depot
  • Ensure a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps
  • Oversee the operation of Tier 2/3 help desk and serve as a focal point for customer concerns
  • Document, track, monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
  • Report availability and health of infrastructure to customers via database reports
  • Provide first-level support to end-users for software, hardware, network, and applications

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in an IT Helpdesk position
  • Experience with a ticketing system (Remedy/JIRA)
  • 2 years experience with hardware and software support
  • Familiar with network infrastructure and cyber operations within a classified environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Education

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study; 2 years related experience may substitute for Degree

Security Requirements

  • Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security ce)
