Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Residential Account Manager is to actively contribute to sales initiatives by coordinating and developing plans. This position will aid the Territory Sales Manager in boosting sales within their designated area and assist other account managers. Additionally, they will offer continuous support to local representatives, distributors, and contractors.
Essential Duties
- Contacts potential and existing customers via phone and email to schedule discussions with sales representatives.
- Records all conversations in the CRM system promptly, detailing communication methods, follow up tasks, and notes.
- Coordinates sales meetings, trainings, and visits by representatives, and sends confirmation emails.
- Documents meetings and training outcomes and follows up with customer to ensure they received the necessary information.
- Ensures timely delivery of residential and at times commercial products to contractors and distributors.
- Stays updated on product pricing, technical information, supply levels, and lead times to maintain high quality customer service.
- Manages the Contractor Rewards Program, ensuring enrollment of customers by distributors, representatives and contractors, and addresses program-related inquires.
- Answers questions regarding residential products and may offer support for commercial products as needed.
- Prepares sales, quarterly, and annual reports for managers and representatives as requested.
- Notifies the Demand Generation team about potential contractor opportunities, meetings, trainings, trade shows, and marketing materials.
- Handles administrative tasks like processing literature requests, private label orders, and providing product information and assistance.
- Makes arrangements for events including signing up, ordering materials, setting up booths, and arranging reservation payments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Intermediate experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Oro, Power BI and JDE system
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.
- Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven capability to exhibit persistence, work with integrity and confidentiality, along with high motivation and energy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with all employee levels including executive management.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

This position works in an office or distribution work setting. Frequently exposed to seasonal temperatures of excessive cold or heat.
