Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Technician Supervisor to join our team. As a Medical Technician Supervisor you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. This position requires experience in medical documentation and records, as well as a strong understanding of working with people with developmental disabilities.
Duties:
- Perform medical tasks under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Assist with physical examinations and other medical procedures
- Collect and document medical information, including vital signs and patient histories
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professional
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Assist with the coordination of care for individuals in Group Home Setting
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Medical Technician or related field
- Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desired
- Understanding of senior/elder care
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Medical Technician or similar qualification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
