Summary of Job Duties:
Assist the Farm Foreman and Farm Mechanic in the maintenance and repair of farm, research and irrigation equipment. Operate research equipment to prepare land and harvest for research plots. Assist in recording research data. Assist in mixing and applying chemicals to research plots. Assist with irrigation and maintaining research plots weed free. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Must have knowledge of general farm operations and procedures, knowledge of operation and maintenance of basic farm equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must have knowledge of row crop and research operations. Knowledge of operation and maintenance of research farm equipment.
