Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

The Calibration technician is responsible for maintaining the gauges, instruments, and other equipment used within calibration parameters. The goal of the calibration technician for maintaining, monitoring, and coordinate the inspection and calibration of all the gauges, instruments, etc. to ensure it operates accordingly and meet industry standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, perform, and document calibration according to Enovis procedures.
  • Generate Requisition Purchase Order to buy gauges and calibration services.
  • Ship gauges/instruments to suppliers domestic and international.
  • Manage the information on gauges, equipment, and instruments through Gagetrak (calibration software)
  • Support Internal and external Quality audits.
  • Coordinate the calibration of instruments with other departments and suppliers.
  • Support lean initiatives and Kaizen events as needed.
  • Maintain up to date the calibration software Gagetrak
  • Responding to internal & suppliers queries.
  • Open, monitor, and follow up with QA, ME and PD engineers on the status of non-conformance gauges (DMER)
  • Tracking Purchase Order and invoices.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry and other sectors where accurate measurements are needed and crucial. Medical Device experience preferred.
  • Oracle knowledge to generate purchase requisitions and receive invoices.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 10%

Desired Characteristics:

  • Willing to work Overtime as needed including Saturdays
  • Be able to read blueprints and other technical drawings.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Oracle knowledge
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for a period of time.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, computer, and mathematical aptitude
