Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders and senior leaders to deliver on complex, enterprise-level initiatives that are a part of the company's overall strategic direction. 
  • Work closely with users, developers, and application owners to gather requirements and deliver solutions based on requirements 
  • Implement infrastructure as a code processes by creating templates, scripts to automate provisioning of services in AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible etc. to provision resources
  • Implement monitoring and alerting of all services and applications hosted in AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Implement sound access control IAM policies, custom IAM roles to manage access to resources in AWS, Azure and GCP, troubleshoot any access related issues for users 
  • Maintain end-to-end security ensuring best practices are always implemented
  • Provision and maintain all servers using configuration management tools, including Chef
  • Develop solutions using cloud services in AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Working knowledge of supporting IT infrastructure technologies and standards including software & hardware life cycle, system configuration policies, security, hardening, High Availability, Disaster Recovery etc.
  • Monitor and report to management on actual and projected tasks. Generate regular cloud cost reports 
  • Be able to work with the Budget & Finance office to review the Billing Consoles and Monthly Invoices from the CSP’s: AWS, Azure and GCP

Qualifications

  • AWS Azure, or GCP certifications
  • Enterprise IT Infrastructure Operations
  • Cloud resources architecture and operations
  • Infrastructure as a code and automation tools.
  • Providing continuous monitoring and support.
  • Delivering solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience provisioning systems in the cloud, creating projects, and configuring access for users
  • Experience with cloud security
  • Experience with cloud networking
  • Experience with cloud storage provisioning and management, worked with large datasets (100s of TBs)
  • Experience using API, scripting, and reporting
  • Experience with Cloud AD and LDAP integration
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience supporting cloud environments, developing and administering an IT operations environment, and administering servers on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment as well as deploying and supporting workloads in a cloud environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must meet all requirements for obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust Clearance
