dlhBOWLES, Inc. is currently seeking a full time individual to help drive, build, and execute our overall quality standards and compliance in a Quality Technician Role. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for handling production part approval process sample submissions, as well as in process inspections using various inspection methods and tools.

FLSA Status:

· Hourly Non-Exempt

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

o Minimum HS Diploma /GED

o Technical education / Relevant QA certification preferred.

Experience:

o Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Quality.

o Familiarity with computer systems preferred.

o Proficient in common inspection methods, gages, calipers, and test equipment.

o Demonstrated ability to understand engineering drawings for inspection use.

Physical Demands:

o Light Duty,

Reporting:

o Reports to Quality supervisor.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for Inspection of molded components and assemblies.

· Conduct daily inspections and testing activities using a variety of inspection tools and techniques; supports production team as needed.

· Collaborate in qualification of new parts and monitor production processes.

· Segregate, inspect and certify parts as needed for manufacturing issues or customer concerns.

· Coordinate material testing, data collection and inspection reports.

· Maintain sample retention process for parts and paperwork.

· Assist with prototype and pilot runs and paperwork.

· Assist Quality Engineer/Supervisor with additional tasks.

· General awareness of Quality & Environmental standards IATF16949/ISO 9001/ISO 14001.
