Business Services Coordinator

The Business Services Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies across the supply chain by establishing and maintaining optimal inventory levels, providing remote support for logistics planning, tracking departmental budgets, and coordinating supply distribution to designated locations. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Establish and maintain optimal consumables inventory levels remotely. 
• Provide remote support for logistics planning tasks. 
• Develop continuous improvement plans to reduce logistics costs across the supply chain. 
• Track departmental budgets for office and shipping supplies, adhering to budgetary guidelines for expenses related to freight and material movement. 
• Coordinate the distribution of supplies to designated locations and closely follow up on order fulfillment.
• Input and reconcile purchase order receipts remotely. 
• Assist in the management of field activities associated with facilities and support DMCR vendor management. 
• Ensure adherence to Company Risk Management Policies/Procedures. 
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal/external customers and facilities staff. 
• Oversee Facilities Services Contractors. 
• Generate, track, and analyze facilities-related metrics, including inventory levels, service contracts, spending/budgets, and procurement of new site supplies, furniture, and equipment. 
• Facilitate remote procurement of new site supplies, furniture, and equipment, including tracking new site calibration and scheduling biomedical vendors. 
• Assist in obtaining CLIA and other state or local certifications as required
• Other tasks as assigned by management or HOD 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE 

Education: 

• Associate’s Degree, required 
• Certification(s) as applicable are preferred 

Experience: 

• 1 years of related experience preferably in clinical research or healthcare facilities, with strong project management, vendor management, space planning, and facilities management experience 

Credentials: 

• PCSM Certification is preferred 
• PMP Certification is preferred
