Title: IT Engineer
Reports to: Operations/General Affairs GM
Location: 2400 Huntington Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL 60192
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Classification: Exempt
Travel: 5% or less
Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.
Essential Job Functions:
This position will provide overall IT support to DMG MORI Federal Services, under the oversight of the DMG MORI Americas IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. - Day-to-day system administration for DMFS
- Responsible for system operation, architectural input, developing and maintaining our cloud and On-prem environments
- Management of the rollout and support of desktop and mobile devices, including laptops, iPhones, iPads and printers for DMFS
- Work on multiple analytics-based initiatives simultaneously, building a unified best-practices cloud platform and highly technical OS support
- Understand overall infrastructure, organizational priorities, and success measures to assist designing and supporting best-practice based architectures and solutions
- Combine technical expertise and organizational goals to create a modernization roadmap to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, orchestrating key resources
- Leverage a wide variety of infrastructure technologies (e.g. Cloud Services, Windows and Linux IaaS, CICD, DevOps, Storage, Networking) to assist design and support performant, dynamically scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and cost-effective architecture
- Monitor, audit, deploy, manage, and operate the fault tolerant environment
- Create documentation and perform knowledge transfer to other team members
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- US Citizenship ▪ 2 years of Azure Cloud experience ▪ Microsoft Azure certification ▪ Experience in Windows Server including the use of Hyper V or VMWare ▪ Basic support experience with Networking and Storage
- Experience with information security risk and maturity models such as CMMC
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Office 365 and associated technologies

Work Environment:
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
