About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst III
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced data analysis to extract meaningful insights and trends from complex datasets.
- Interpret and communicate findings to support evidence-based decision-making in health-focused government initiatives.
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
- Analyze customer data and write scripts to load this data into an existing database schema
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality to accommodate new requirements
- Create and deploy new reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Perform break/fix analysis for reported issues
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Leverage extensive experience supporting health-focused government organizations to provide specialized insights and analytics in public health initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address specific health-related data requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience
- 8 years of experience in MS SQL Server database development -including DB design, coding of stored procedures, functions, and development of complex queries
- 8 years of experience in data analysis - reviewing business data and adjusting it to existing data models, or adjusting data models as necessary to analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Edav Dedicated SQL, Azure SQL, Databricks, Rstudio/Posit, SAS Viya, Power BI, Tableau, Socrata, and Enterprise Data Catalog - Alation.
