About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Price to win Manager to join our Competitive Strategies Group.

The Competitive Strategies team ensures we have the competitive edge by providing comprehensive market intelligence, developing targeted campaigns, and implementing price-to-win strategies. They focus on building strong and actionable partnerships with best-in-class industry players to enhance DMI's capabilities and expand our reach. This team ensures our propensity to win competitive bids, growing our market share in industry.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct pricing analysis: Responsible for conducting pricing analysis on potential bids, including a thorough analysis of pricing trends, historical data, and current market conditions. You should be able to identify potential areas of cost savings and competitive pricing strategies to improve DMI’s chances of winning bids.​
  • Develop pricing strategies: Based on your pricing analysis, you will develop and implement pricing strategies that help DMI win deals of consequence against competition. ​
  • Monitor and report on pricing trends: You will continuously monitor pricing trends of our competitors in the market, including changes in pricing strategies and industry pricing trends. You will use this information to make recommendations to the leadership team regarding pricing strategies and opportunities on particular deals. ​
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Finally, you always seek to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to pricing strategy. You will attend industry events, conduct research, and network with other professionals in the field to stay informed and ensure that DMI’s pricing strategies remain competitive and extremely effective.

    Qualifications

    Years of Experience:  

     

    Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

     

  • Strong analytical skills: You should have experience in conducting pricing analysis and using data to inform winning pricing strategies.​
  • Knowledge of industry trends: You should have a deep understanding of the Federal pricing industry and use that knowledge to ensure DMI stay ahead of competition.​
  • 10 plus years’ experience: You should have a strong understanding of government and commercial contracting, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other relevant regulations.​
  • Excellent communication skills: You should have strong communication skills to effectively manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex pricing concepts to non-technical stakeholders.​
  • Project management experience: As the ideal candidate, you should have experience in managing complex pricing projects, including the bid proposal process, ensuring pre-sales obligations are met, deadlines hit, and projects delivered on time and within budget.
