About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Software Tester/Quality Assurance to add to our Enterprise Analytics and Systems Support Services (EASSS) team in support of Human Resources Command (HRC) Enterprise Modernization Directorate (EMoD).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a system tester, including applying expertise in analytical work to a complex, custom coded Web-based software application.
• Deliver expertise in a variety of software QA concepts, practices, and procedures
• Conduct manual functional, regression, and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and report issues found during the test life cycle
• Create test cases that verify approved requirements for assigned modules and document results
• Assist with software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis and support the continuous improvement of the current test process.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Responsible for the quality of software development and deployment.
• Analysis of software and systems and mitigating risk and preventing software issues.
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Education could be substituted for year of experience.
• 5 years of experience as a software tester, data analysis, or similar professional experience.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

• Secret Clearance

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and great communication skills.
