As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting cyber threats to our organization. Your role will involve gathering intelligence from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web monitoring, and internal security tools, to identify potential risks and provide actionable insights to our security teams. You will collaborate closely with other cybersecurity professionals to develop strategies for mitigating threats and improving our defenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze cyber threats targeting our organization, including malware, phishing attacks, and other malicious activities.
• Collect and assess intelligence from diverse sources, such as threat intelligence feeds, forums, social media, and incident reports.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of threat actors, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and their motivations.
• Produce timely and actionable intelligence reports, alerts, and briefings for relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in cyber threat intelligence.
• Assist in the development and refinement of security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Participate in incident response activities, providing expertise and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
• Proven experience (X years) working in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on threat intelligence analysis.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and other security technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and data analysis tools preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,272.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
• Yearly pay
