Job Purpose
Working on 2 sides of the operation, inside assembler and service and outside in the field as service technician, the best of both worlds.
Field Service Technician:
Be on-call to travel to customer worksite to repair and maintain DMN Incorporated’s entire product portfolio. Be the face of DMN-WESTINGHOUE towards the customer with an always positive mindset and commercial and technical sight.
Assembler:
Work as part of the Production team in West Memphis having responsibility for assembling products from DMN
Incorporated’s entire product portfolio or components of a single product. Assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and their relevant tasks ,rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Includes team leaders who work as part of the team.
Tasks
- Be on-call to travel to customer/jobsite by car or plane for 1 to multiple days at a time
- Service and maintain products
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, pneumatic actuators and systems, checking clearances or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Maintain or repair specialized equipment or machinery located in mainly factories.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, or equipment.
- Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.
- Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.
- Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams
- Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
