Are you a Rad Tech looking for the next step in your career? DMOS is hiring a working Clinic Supervisor to oversee clinical and staff operations at our Ankeny location. This is a perfect opportunity to pursue a leadership opportunity while maintaining a work life balance! As a working leader, you will be expected to step in to clinic to perform orthopedic X-rays to support the team when needed. This full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible) opportunity will oversee the Ankeny clinical services, work in clinic as needed, and provide support to staff to ensure smooth clinic flow. The on-site expectations of this position are Monday – Friday; 7:30AM – 5PM or until last patient leaves.

Do I want this Supervisory job? The Ankeny Supervisor oversees the daily clinic flow ensuring an optimal experience for orthopedic patients. You will work closely with providers to answer any questions or inquiries in a kind and curious manner. You will demonstrate excellence in patient care by working in clinic with staff and providers. You will coordinate staff scheduling for the Ankeny Clinic, along with maintaining a close working relationship with the other clinic leadership to ensure optimal staffing supports across all DMOS locations. You can operate with highest level of integrity, dependability, and flexibility by using sound judgment and initiative for professional decision making. You understand that our patients are hurting, and while they may not always be super pleasant, they are grateful.
Can I do this Supervisory job? You have an active permit to operate and an ARRT certification. You have experience working with patients providing sound orthopedic X-rays. You have previous leadership experience, or experience working closely with physicians and providers. You can follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality. You have a familiarity with and can comply to all safety policies and regulations (IDPH). You have great communication skills, and experience working on leadership teams across multiple locations. You can work the hours of this position, Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 5PM or until last patient leaves, as ultimately we are all here to serve the patients.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program required. To be considered, candidates must maintain a permit to practice and hold an active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. A minimum of two years leadership experience and working with physicians and mid-level providers preferred.
