Key Responsibilities: Manages all transportation department personnel to ensure flights are serviced/catered- meeting customer requirements and preventing aircraft departure delays. Attentive to last minute changes required by customer. This position will also focus on unit safety.

You Will
- Communicate with customers, shifts, and all internal departments to ensure the above level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Schedule vehicles/personnel for optimum utilization: control of manpower
- hours & overtime/truck rotations/scheduling preventive maintenance/vehicle washing. Maintains optimum relationship with maintenance department.
- Maintain daily controls to reduce vehicle damage and vehicle fines.
- Produce required shift reports /documentation/driver logs/investigation & documentation vehicle damage.
- Check flow, arrival and departure flights.
- Communicate all related matters to personnel with daily debriefings.
- Check with dispatch for arrivals of flights.
- Check for driver’s location, off and on the plane and record arrival and departure times.
- Must attend all company provided supervision/management training.
- Comply with all HACCP/GMP and dnata catering sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the safety and security of all transportation related operations.
- Works in safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
- Stresses safe working procedures to all employees daily.
- Immediately investigates, documents, and reports all on the job accidents following company safety procedures.
- Provide Ramp safety and A1 audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation DOE - Paid Weekly - Exempt Position

- CDL license a plus.
- Demonstrated aviation industry experience or knowledge.
- Ability to travel to the Port Authority's airports
You Have
- Favorable results for a Criminal History Records Check to obtain and/or maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) access and successful completion of a SIDA test.
- Knowledge of HACCP and FDA guidelines
- Demonstrated experience in decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution.
- High level of integrity and dependability with ability to think on both a strategic and tactical level to develop long-term achievable plans.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and think outside of the box to find quick resolutions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, outlook)
Intellectual/Social demands:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold/heat (weather), heights and loud noise (earplugs must be worn while on the Ramp)
