DNV - Energy Systems Energy Management group is seeking an Business Analyst to join our DTE Energy team. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced engineer in energy efficiency programs. This position will be based out of our DNV office in Detroit, Michigan, offering a hybrid schedule of an average three (3) days in the office and two (2) days working remotely.
Tasks May Include:
- Provide administrative support to program staff and operations manager
- Maintain organized paper and electronic project files
- Database management and reporting
- Create and maintain IT tickets to make changes to reporting, database functionality, and fix errors
- Professionally and courteously interact with Utility Program managers regarding questions about reporting, forecasting, or counter measures
- Provide services necessary to support normal business operations.
- Provide flexible support to other team members on an as-needed basis
- Provide program event and training activity support
What is Required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- At least two to three years' experience in professional business services.
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Power BI programming
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM
- Intermediate experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power Automate.
- Must be flexible, able to prioritize work assignments, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organizational, grammar, and spelling skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods
- Knowledge of or ability to learn fundamentals of energy efficient equipment
- Most importantly, this individual should display a positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability and willingness to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred Skills (Not Required): (what qualifications would be helpful, but not necessarily required?)
- Accounts payable background/skills
- Experience with Jira or other software project management
- Curiosity, flexibility, and adaptability - as issues and tasks may change quickly
