We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor who would love to join our enthusiastic DO & CO team and implement the best industry practices for our luxury airline catering operation in New York.    In case you don’t know who we are:  We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, DO & CO offers gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 32 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations.    Responsibilities:    Supervise AP. including, Customer Vendor Relations, and the AP disbursement which handles all check disbursements, 1099 and tax related matters. Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensure accuracy and timeliness. Support in development, implementation and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines. Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information; ensure accuracy of financial statements. Provide accounting assistance to managers and operations staff; respond to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs. Act as a liaison between the company, government, and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes. Recommend operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitor spending for adherence to budget, recommend variances as necessary. Perform additional projects as assigned.   Qualification:    Proven ability to be a resourceful problem-solver. Great attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet processing deadlines. Hands-on mentality and practice with manual systems.  Passion for working within an international team. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience and thorough understanding of all aspects of Accounts Payable preferably within hospitality or food production environment. Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred. Excellent Microsoft Excel (and Word) skills a must (creating formulas needed) Working knowledge of accounting principles – GAAP.   What we offer:    Estimated pay range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
