What you’ll do You manage all payroll activities and ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee wages. You will ensure the collection of all necessary information and documents, compute wages, and investigate and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies. A day as Payroll Coordinator Administer Payroll for Boston including time and attendance module. Support employees with any issues related to payroll and benefits. Complete verification of employment requests. Support departmental managers with supervisor system administration. Maintain employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance. Manage the company Intranet website for all employee benefit information and update as needed. Support employee engagement activities. Edit and update policies as changes occur and draft a communication of those changes to the company. Closely track status of each leave of absence to ensure timely process resolution. File/administer all Worker’s Compensation claims and handle related employee questions and communication. Fill in employment data surveys to participate in compensation benchmarking and reporting for analytic data to be used for future improvement and comparison to industry standards. Process court order wage garnishments, including child support, student loans , wage assignment and federal tax levies Who You Are Experience in payroll administration. Good working knowledge of accounting practices and tax laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems and database software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Strong attention to detail. Basic math skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
