What you’ll be doing: The ideal candidate is an analytical detail-oriented individual who will contribute to the analysis of financial results for our operations in (LOCATION). You will be responsible for reconciles, account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures in addition to analyzing financial reports and forecasts. Assist in all aspects of finance and accounting department, as needed. You’ll have a formal accounting education, self-motivated, positive attitude, can perform with minimal supervision and work closely with international accounting teams, customers and vendors and loves a challenge. A day as a Senior Accountant: Maintain the General Ledger and manage month-end and year-end closure.Set up of payroll and accounts payable accruals and deferrals. Create journal entries and allocation entries between different reporting entities as well as intercompany invoices and reconcile intercompany accounts. Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Prepare daily and weekly KPI reports Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately monthly. Maintain fixed assets schedule and depreciation and reconcile company credit cards Indirectly supervise the work of accounts payable invoices to check for correct account postings and assist in completing the following tasks: monthly financial reports, variances reports, documentation of internal controls, tax returns and corporate reporting requirements Who you are: 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Controllership functions Experience in hospitality, logistic and/or manufacturing environments preferred Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment where change is constant Exceptional analytical skills and clear communication style Proactive, solution-oriented problem solverAbility to collaborate with all levels of the organization, including individuals outside of the finance function, across multiple time zones Bachelors in finance/Accounting preferred
