Summary of Primary Functions:
Dobbs Equipment is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager 1 (SAM1). This position is responsible for the sale, rental, and leasing of all new and used John Deere equipment and all allied products, distributed by Dobbs Equipment. The SAM will be responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential clients to grow Dobbs Equipment (John Deere) equipment market share in their given territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include some or all the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Developmental Phases:
Duration of phases are dependent upon the employee’s ability to learn & capacity to effectively model acquired skills, as well as the needs of DOBBS Equipment.
General expected initial training timeline is:
1-2 Weeks: Machine Safety, Inventory, and Logistics.
1-2 Weeks: Service Department.
1-2 Weeks: Parts Department.
1-2 Weeks: Inside Machine Sales.
1-2 Weeks: On the Job Training with veteran Machine Sales Representatives.
The Senior Account Manager I will continue to spend time with Commercial Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, and other members of the DOBBS Team to increase sales of Construction Equipment, including but not limited to:
