We perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of electromechanical equipment inside big box retail stores. With over 35 years of experience servicing over 1500 stores across the US, our full-certified technicians provide our customers with support and repair solutions designed to extend the life of their equipment, reducing downtime and minimizing the impact on our customer’s bottom line.

As a part of our continued growth, we are seeking an Electromechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in performing preventative maintenance and reactive service repair on paint and electromechanical equipment at big box retailers. This role requires travel overnight on average for at least 3 weeks per month.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and then provide a solution
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines
• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with electromechanical equipment
• Ability to read schematics
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to travel overnight on average for at least 3 weeks per month

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or a combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics 
• Use computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software 
• Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record along with proof of insurance 
• A satisfactory background check is required
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior, and a positive attitude 
• Written, verbal, and electronic communication skills 
• Must be able to travel overnight on average for at least 3 weeks per month
• Other duties as needed 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position will require you to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to stand, bend, and drive for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights of more than 6 ft.
