Role and Impact:
As a Stress Counselor, your primary goal is to help FEMA personnel minimize the emotional impacts and stressors associated with disaster operations. By providing critical counseling and support services, you'll contribute to ensuring that our staff can continue their mission effectively and maintain a high level of functionality during challenging times. Stress counselor will provide both group and individual sessions to FEMA employees as requested. Topics to be available could be, but not limited to, emotional trauma as well as psychoeducational information about PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder, and adjustment disorder.
