What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant -RHRP position at DOCS Health?
Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partnerwith us to provide services to our Military Service members. We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Connecticut. DOCS Health is in full preparation mode for our new services under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP).
Responsibilities:- Phlebotomy/Blood draw.
- Immunizations.
- EKG.
- Manual vitals and vision.
- Days vary - primarily on Saturday and Sunday
- Anticipated start: March 2023
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
- Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
- Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
- Utilize universal precautions for patient care
- Experience working with military - preferred
- Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
- Proficient with computer programs
- Must have weekend availability
