DOCS Health is seeking an Event Manager with a focus on the laboratory and immunization processes to oversee operational aspects for the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP).
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute various events within the program. The Event Manager will be responsible for managing various aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes.
This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
- Army National Guard (ARNG)
- U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
- U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
- U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
- Air National Guard (ANG)
- U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities
• Military medical and dental event planning, coordination, and execution.• Direct focus on the laboratory and immunization process at group events.• Supervise and train a team of laboratory and vaccination staff working group events across the country. • Oversee and ensure that staff are trained on vaccine storage and inventory management processes and procedures.• Serves as the Point of Contact (POC) and on-scene coordinator to the military POC.• Stay up-to-date with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA, and ensure compliance across the organization.• Implement procedures for reporting and addressing adverse events following vaccinations and lab draws, in compliance with regulatory requirements.• Develop and maintain vaccination protocols for emergency situations.• Implement and adhere to policies, procedures, documentation requirements for all events, goals, and objectives thus sustaining demands provided by the Department of Defense• Coordinate with logistics and staffing for all events.• Review and provide feedback on event metrics to ensure 100% compliance.
On-site Event Management:• Supervise event set-up, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are in place.• Direct event staff and training to ensure proper execution of assigned tasks.• Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during events promptly.• Ensure that adverse events are reported appropriately.• Monitor event progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure objectives are met.• Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and concerns.
Post-event Evaluation and Reporting:• Conduct quality assurance reports on all events.• Gather feedback and conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success.• Analyze event data, feedback, and financials, to identify areas for improvement.• Prepare comprehensive event reports, highlighting key metrics and ensure 100% documentation is complete within company policies.• Share findings with program leadership and stakeholders to guide future event planning.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in phlebotomy, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.• Strong knowledge and experience with phlebotomy techniquest, laboratory procedures, and safety standards.• The contract requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.• Proficiency in event management software, online registration systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event management.• Knowledge of health-related programs or military events is a plus.
