Doctors Urgent Care Group is a fast-growing multi-million-dollar urgent care corporation looking for a full-time Emergency Medical Technician Advanced. We have 26 locations nationwide and staffing over 200 employees across 3 different states and have been recently featured on Inc. 5000 in 2021.

Requirements for the Emergency Medical Technician position include:

Must have Emergency Medical Technician Advanced certificate or diploma or at least 1 year of work experience as a Emergency Medical Technician Advance
Must have BLS or CPR certificate
Must be able to work up to five days a week
Must be able to work morning and afternoon shifts
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to be on call two days a week
Must be willing to travel to different locations for coverage, if needed
Must be willing to drive up to an hour for coverage, if needed
Must have a valid driver's license or a valid driver's permit
Must have reliable transportation

The Emergency Medical Technician job duties include but are not limited to:

Patient registration/EMR
Insurance verification
Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft
Vitals
Capable of drawing blood
Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs
In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing.
EKG
Injections/Immunizations-Prepare for suturing-Sterilization, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

License/Certification:

• EMT Certification, Diploma, or 1yr EMT experience (Preferred)
• Driver's License or Level 2 Permit (Preferred)
