What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Doctors Volunteer Clinic?
The Doctors' Volunteer Clinic of St. George is a medical non-profit clinic which has provided medical, mental health, and denal care to the low income and uninsured population of Southern Utah for the last 25 years.
We are looking for a high energy, enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Administrative Assistant to the clinic's Executive Director.
Please Note: This role reqires in-person work but offers a flexible schedule and free on-site parking.
Job Description & Requirements:
- Reports to clinic's Executive Director and maintains Executive Director's calendars.
- Assists with daily administrative operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Outlook / Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, Excel
- Assists with Human Resources processes, such as onboarding/off-boarding, volunteer scheduling and file maintenance.
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple departments as needed. (No task is too small!)
- Proficiency in HIPAA compliance and medical reception/scheduling.
- Assists with fundraising/outreach event coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal).
- Detail oriented, independent, problem solver, team oriented.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and professional appearance/attitude/conduct.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
