Ultrasound Technician and Medical Assistant
Our new OB/GYN practice (opening this Fall) in Dublin, GA seeks an experienced, certified Ultrasound Technician with a broad range of testing skills to work in a fast-paced medical office environment. In addition, the qualified individual will also perform, as needed, necessary medical assistant responsibilities, such as:
- Documenting patients' medical information, including medical history and review of symptoms, reason for visit within the patients’ chart.
- Prepping exam rooms for clinical, surgical or cosmetic procedures and assisting providers during exams with patient care
- Answering calls and returning messages
- Properly disinfecting and restocking of medical supplies in patient exam room
- Obtaining authorizations for imaging studies as needed
- Transmitting prescription or refill requests as directed by provider
- Obtaining prescription authorizations for patient medications
- Inform management of clinical supplies needed
Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills and enjoy working with patients. Minimum of one year of experience is required.
