Production Artist

Dog Haus is looking for a versatile, detail-oriented Production Artist with strong visual communication skills and web experience that can thrive in a fast-paced environment, with meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate has experience in creating on-brand graphics for a variety of media, with an understanding of scope of work and staying on schedule. This position will report to the Head of Marketing and work collaboratively with the Dog Haus Design Team.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 2-3 years of experience in Graphic Design
• 2-3 years experience in web design and working with HTML/CSS
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• An exceptional portfolio demonstrating visual design and expertise
• Demonstrated working knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premier a plus); version 5.5 or up preferred, along with PowerPoint design and Google Workspace.
• WordPress experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow a style guide/concept and produce final art for both print and web
• Candidate's portfolio must demonstrate a good eye for color, legibility, and composition.
• Highly collaborative and open to feedback, suggestions, and working alongside teams to ensure best outputs.
• Understanding of technical design principles and the application of corporate brand guidelines.
• Proven track record in executing flawless digital marketing campaign creative.
• Demonstrated ability to think quickly to accommodate a dynamic business environment.
• Must be flexible, accommodating, and service oriented.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with workflow management practices, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to properly prepare files for print, video, and digital media
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and produce quality output in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the creative development and production of print and digital advertising, social marketing, web design and corporate communications collateral.
• Adhere to and contribute to brand, style, voice, tone, design guidelines, and standards.
• Design and produce digital communications materials for projects requiring simple to complex graphics, some animations, and integrating typographic, photographic, illustrative, and graphic elements.
• Contribute creative solutions and follow all directions accurately in a deadline-driven, goal-oriented, multi-functional environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and take accountability for completing tasks in a timely fashion, adhering to project deadlines.
• Manage workflow, content, and revision control; execute layout, illustration, and design of Marketing-related materials.
• Develop designs and collateral and items used to communicate internally (Newsletters, Email Communications, Training, etc.)
• Clips and retouches photos for digital and print assets.
• Utilize HTML/CSS knowledge and experience to align with brand guidelines while ensuring proper web standards
• Create, edit, proof read and update web pages
