Social Media Community Builder

Dog Haus is looking for a social media obsessed, creative and resourceful community builder. This position will report to the Head of Marketing and work collaboratively with the other members of the Dog Haus team. The ideal candidate has a background in leveraging social media tools to foster relationships and community growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with fans in real-time via Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and more. You’ll contribute to content creation and help build social communities for not only Dog Haus, but the legacy brand’s off-shoot virtual concepts – Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos, Bad Mutha Clucka, Plant B and JAILBIRD.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 2 years of experience in social media and community management / 1 year experience in content creation.
• Strong working knowledge of social platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
• Independent thinker with a passion to improve ideas through collaboration
• Ability to turn data and observations into useful insights
• Strong understanding of social trends and content that ensures our brands are always pushing the limits of what’s possible on each social platform
• Ability to shift tone and personality when writing
• Adaptable/flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Inquisitive – not afraid to ask questions or provide recommendations
• Basic skills in photography and videography
• Self-starter and ability to take ownership over projects
• Ability to follow brand guidelines to ensure continuity
• Passion for food and beer (that’s what Dog Haus is all about!)
• Most of all – a fun-loving, hustler with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Help plan, launch and manage organic social media campaigns
• Take ownership over social media posting schedules, programing posts in-

platform or via scheduling tools

• Engage with fans in real-time by replying to comments, messages or liking

tagged social media content

• Execute social strategies to create communities around each of The Absolute

Brands

• Build relationships with community members and organizations
• Track, analyze, and report on performance and growth on social channels
• Ideate content for each social platform that will resonate with current and

potential fans

• Capture and edit images & videos at an entry-level
• Monitor customer trends and market changes
• Act as the point of contact for relevant social media partners
• Collaborate and communicate in a team environment
