This is a role for someone with a management and operations background who understands hard work, how to deliver and train others to provide top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care. This person should love dogs - and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! This position has potential to grow significantly as we expand and grow.

Clean and Safe Environment to ensure our furry friends are always in a safe and clean environment we take pride in working as a team to get all the nitty gritty complete:
Maintain and update cleaning schedule, along with holding themselves and team accountable to the Dogtopias safety and cleaning standards.
Dismisses dogs proactively with ongoing behavior issues and monitors action plans to retain those with minor issues.
Maintains emergency plans and provides occasional training to remind all employees how to handle the unusual situations.
Financial and Administrative
Ensures all KPI (Key Performance Metrics) are met and exceeded, including Gross Revenue and Net Profitability.
Develops team in up-selling and using dog Evaluations to grow revenue.
Maintains controllable expenses within budgetary constraints including forecasting, tracking and ordering supplies, minimizing payroll, and actively look for ways to maximize efficiency.
Communicates any concerns or needs to franchise owner proactively after attempting to resolve issues.
Customer Service and Presentation
Works with the Dogtopia Support team and vendors to ensure our Pet Parents, Furry Friends and staff have an exceptional experience at Dogtopia of Boise.
Maintains a neat and organized Front Desk team and area at all times. This includes holding the team to professional clean dress standards.
Sets the example for the team on the 3-S's (Smile, Story and Satisfaction) and hold everyone accountable to the internal and external customer service standards.
Keeps the team members engaged in their duties; help each team member perform at their best level.

What we require: Lets look at what is required for this position
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience managing people.
Knowledge of dog behavior and/or dog care.
Experience managing budgets and maintaining HR compliance.
Proven track record of creating a high-performing team environment.
As the General Manager, you are responsible to work with all customers, vendors and team members to ensure our operation sets the highest standards of dog care and satisfaction to our customers.
